Opportunity to hear Barbara Kingsolver at the Carnegie Center

BOOKS-IN-PROGRESS CONFERENCE

The Carnegie Center’s first Books-in-Progress Conference, featuring best-selling author and Kentucky native Barbara Kingsolver as the keynote speaker is scheduled for June 8 & 9.
The conference will offer writing and publishing workshops, as well as one-on-one meetings between writers and literary agents. In the weeks ahead, check our Website for the latest on the conference. We’ll update it regularly with specifics and surprises. And please sign up soon: with only about 100 slots for the conference, we expect to sell out fast.
Conference attendees’ cost of registration includes the reading by Barbara Kingsolver at the Lexington Convention Center on Friday, June 8, 7pm.
The reading will also be open to the public for $20. Call the Carnegie Center (859.254.4175) today to reserve your spot. Seating is limited.
